Protein Strawberry Smoothie Recipe Healthy Breakfast
I have been on a serious smoothie kick for two reasons. The first is that I have been really craving fruit. Not sure why, but when I start craving something healthy I just go with it. Sometimes it is breakfast burritos, sometimes it is tritip, and this time it is fruit. So, I plan on just eating all the fruit until my fruit cravings go away just a little. The second reason is I have been really trying to eat more protein. Smoothies are a super easy way to get all sorts of healthy things in a yummy drink and that includes protein!

Protein Strawberry Smoothie Recipe Healthy Breakfast
Non - Alcoholic Drinks
Ingredients
4 ounces orange juice
4 ounces water
1 cup ice
1 cup strawberries (about 6 whole strawberries
1/2 cub strawberry yogurt
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Thing you will want to make this recipe:
Directions:
Blend all ingredients until it is smooth
Pour into glasses and enjoy!

A couple things I have learned along the way:
If you want to add more protein to the smoothie use greek yogurt
If you are needing to figure out how to get more veggies in your diet just add a handful of spinach. You won’t notice any flavor change with spinach. Other veggies you might be able to taste in your smoothie, but not so much with spinach.
If you like thicker smoothies use frozen fruit
There you have it. A very delicious protein strawberry smoothie recipe! This is perfect for breakfast, a snack, or really just anytime of the day. I love having smoothies in the summer when I want something cool and light weight.
