Typically we do not post very many wine recipes. We're trying to get a lot better at that but for some reason we haven't been great at it so far.

Now it's nothing against wine, but for some reason us young girls lean towards other drinks LOL. When it comes to a good sangria though, I am definitely all about it. I honestly think that the reason why I absolutely love sangria is because they are so dang pretty. There are also so many different options for Sangria's that really a sangria recipe is limitless. I'm still going to stick to that they're pretty though. They're amazing to photograph, they're beautiful for a party, and I just absolutely love them. I mean honestly though who doesn't love a good sangria?

Since it is almost Christmas, which is just absolutely crazy, we decided it would be perfect to post the Christmas sangria recipe. This recipe is great for big parties and you can make the sangria beautiful and festive. All you need is it good pitcher and a few things to decorate it with.

So, let’s go ahead and get into this amazing Christmas Sangria Recipe…

Christmas Sangria Recipe:

Ingredients

• 1 bottle of red wine

• 2 cups pomegranate or cranberry juice

• 1/2 cup apple cider

• 1/2 cup brandy

• 1/4 cup honey

• 1 cup cranberries

• 1 green apple chopped

• 1 pear chopped

• 1 apple in slices for garnish

Directions:

• Chop your apples and pears. Place in the bottom of a large pitcher

• Add all ingredients to the pitcher and stir

• Stir

• Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving. It is best if you let sit overnight. The longer it sits the more flavorful it will be

• Fill glasses with your delicious Christmas Sangria

• Top with cranberries and apples for garnish

• Enjoy!

• Serves 12 adult
