Oh man do we love playing with Beer Cocktails. Honestly, I didn’t even know beer cocktails were a thing until the last couple of years. Let me explain.

So technically we have been making beer cocktails for a long time and didn’t even know it! For the most part, I thought you were just supposed to drink beer as beer. Nothing else. I didn’t know there was this entire world of beer cocktails!

Then, one day I was in a super neat brewery up in Oregon and the bartender mixed two beers together for me. I was super hesitant and was like “what the heck are you doing there Mr.?”. He assured me that everyone loves the combination so I tried it and let me tell you it was amazing!

This whole mixing two beers really got me to thinking about how to make cool drinks with beer. So I decided to start playing with mixing beer and all sorts of different things. If you want to see more beer cocktail recipes from us check them out here.

Well there is the story about how we started making Beer Cocktails. Enough with the chit chat… lets go ahead and talk about this amazing Bourbon Stout Cocktail Recipe.

Bourbon Stout Cocktail Recipe:

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup of your favorite craft chocolate stout

• 1/4 cup bourbon

• 1 teaspoon vanilla

• 1-2 TBSP chocolate flavored syrup

• Ice cubes

• half and half cream or heavy whipping cream depending on your taste.

Directions:

• Fill cup with ice

• Stir together stout, bourbon, vanilla, and syrup

• Drizzle with cream

• Serve and Enjoy!

Serving Size:

• Serves 1 adult
